My name is Rochelle Deter. I am a Redding native who graduated from Anderson High School in 1994 and began teaching at U-Prep in 2005. I received my bachelor's degree in mathematics from Simpson College, where I graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2003. Subsequently, I received my teaching credential through Simpson University and received my Master’s degree in Education from the University of Phoenix in August 2010.
This year, I will be teaching Integrated Math 3, Integrated Math 3 Honors, and Trig/Precalculus. I coordinate the yearly Sophomore Class Trip, I am the high school adviser for the California Scholarship Federation, and the high school math department chair.
When not at school, I love to read, cook, and garden. I enjoy travelling and camping with my husband, children, and dogs. Please feel free to contact me via email at rdeter@suhsd.net
